Scott has enjoyed a successful 27-year career as a sales and marketing executive in media and software and now as Owner/CEO of Brick & Barn Real Estate Group.

Scott was a Division Manager for Paramount Pictures in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, selling and marketing Paramount’s syndicated library of television shows to local affiliates. He helped launch and sell television franchises including Frasier, Star Trek, Cheers, Entertainment Tonight, and Paramount's library of blockbuster movies.  Scott then joined NBC Television in New York as one of the first sales executives in their newly formed “Interactive” group, helping to monetize NBC’s Internet properties. He created and sold some of the first national online/offline cross promotional advertising campaigns to companies like Sears, Eddie Bauer, and Intel.  Working closely with show producers, he helped build go-to market digital strategies for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live, and the Today Show.

As technology and the Internet was rapidly entering the world’s economy, Scott was recruited to develop sales and marketing strategies for Silicon Valley and New York based software start-ups. Creating go-to market strategies and high performing sales teams, Scott drove revenue for emerging companies in social media, online video, and digital marketing helping to contribute to to three $100M+ acquisitions.  

Deciding to leverage his corporate sales experience on a more local level, Scott entered the world of real estate.  Buying a small Vermont based real estate company, Scott has transformed the brand, added over 45 brokers and agents, expanded to the seacoast of NH and Maine, and northern Massachusetts, and opened four offices. Brick & Barn is fast becoming a preferred alternative to working with the larger franchise companies by providing a high touch, technology driven, and concierge level service to buying and selling real estate.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College and can be found skiing in Vermont in the winters and road biking on the NH seacoast in the summers.
